SCALE Initiative

SCALE — Strategic Collaborative Alliances in Life Sciences and Emerging Technologies — is funded by the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and Enterprise Ireland (EI) and coordinated by the Scottish Universities Life Sciences Alliance (SULSA) in partnership with FundtoInnovate (FTI), Italy’s National Research Council (CNR) and University College Cork (UCC).

The initiative strengthens collaborative R&I across the UK, Italy, Ireland and Germany to build high‑impact consortia for the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 Work Programme.
